TractorHaat

Investor relations

Organising India's used-tractor market, one haat at a time.

TractorHaat combines company-run used-tractor yards with a tractor and farm-equipment loan (DSA) business. We start in Malwa, prove the unit, then scale across Madhya Pradesh and beyond.

The opportunity

A large market still run on trust gaps

India is the world's largest tractor market, and every new tractor sale creates an older one that needs a buyer. Most of that resale still happens through brokers and informal deals.

01

Fragmented, informal resale

Used tractors change hands through local brokers with no standard inspection, pricing or warranty.

02

Dealers need an exit for exchange stock

New-tractor dealers take old tractors in exchange and need a reliable channel to liquidate them.

03

Finance is the deciding factor

Most farmers buy on credit, but used-tractor loans are hard to access without a trusted seller.

04

Paperwork risk

RC, NOC and hypothecation issues surface after the sale and hurt both buyer and lender.

Business model

Source. Refurbish. Sell at the haat. Finance.

Company-owned, company-operated (COCO) haats give us control over quality and customer experience; partner haats extend reach later.

  1. Source

Exchange tractors from OEM dealers, direct from farmers and from financiers — through planned dealer tie-ups.

  2. Inspect & refurbish

Standard checklist, workshop repair and paper verification before listing.

  3. Sell at the haat

Physical yard plus online listings; test drives and transparent pricing.

  4. Finance (DSA)

Tractor and farm-equipment loans through partner banks and NBFCs — for our buyers and the wider market.

Revenue streams

Trading margin Spread between purchase plus refurbishment cost and selling price.
Finance payouts DSA commission from lenders on every loan disbursed, including loans not linked to our stock.
Services Documentation, RTO transfer and insurance support around each sale.
